Enjoy live radio drama presented on stage!
Third Age Onstage, a radio drama group, will perform Alive in the Grave and Scott Fitzgerald’s The Diamond as Big as the Ritz this month in the Wilkerson Theater at the R25 Arts Complex, home of California Stage.
In the first story, Alive in the Grave, a wife’s ultimatum to her unemployed husband results in the robbery of a dead man and the grave he now occupies.
The next story, Scott Fitzgerald’s The Diamond as Big as the Ritz, is a fantasy considered one of his best short stories. In it, a young man accepts an invitation from his new classmate to spend the spring break with his family “out west.” Expecting it to be a typical rugged ranch, he finds instead a palatial setting, and even falls in love before he finally realizes that his very life is on the line.
Both are performed each day:
Saturday, May 18, 7:00 pm and Sunday, May 19, 2:00pm.
In the Wilkerson Theater:
